an abbreviated Lab Report. Focus on the experimental results, data
analysis and conclusions.

Introduction
- Provide
1-2 sentences describing the objective of the experiment.

Experimental Procedure
- Provide
a 1-2 paragraph description of the experimental procedure for
obtaining data.
(3)
Experimental Results
- Provide
any tables and/or figures explicitly requested in the lab description.
- Present
results in graphical format if possible.
- Use
only brief tables that are easy to read.
- Do
not include lengthy tables of data. If necessary, these can be
included in an appendix.
(4)
Discussion
- Describe
procedure for evaluating data.
- Give
assumptions and/or mathematical formulae used.
- Draw
conclusions that are appropriate to the motivation and that follow
the prescribed theory.
- Discuss
why results obey or do not obey predicted outcomes.
- Discuss
any problems or errors.

Summary
- Provide
a 1-2 paragraph summary of the results and conclusions.

References
- No
references are required.
Tables:
Tables require headings and must be explicitly referred to in the
text. If they must extend beyond one page, the heading row must
be repeated.
Figures:
Figures require captions and must be explicitly referred to in the
text.
Hand
drawn figures or handwritten tables are not acceptable.
